Pros- 40-50 hots per co2 pretty accurate for a 7" barrel and one of the most customizable air guns around the possibilities are endless
I optioned for a 14.5" barrel and shoulder stock the stock needs to be a little longer and the rear sight becomes to close to use as a carbine
Cons- pricing is different almost everywhere single shot with bolt action makes it a slower shooter lacks power for hunting anything more than mice or very small birds and it’s loud for having only 450fps

Easy to use. Shoots hard and accurate. OK trigger, but pretty loud.

Excellent buy. Purchased a year ago as a supplement to my Crosman Classic pump as old hands tire quickly and was beginning to notice the scarcity of its availability. Purchased as it is a forever non wear out item I wanted to have in my collection. Shoot approximately 25 feet in garage during winter or or on rainy days. Keeps me well practiced for hiking/plinking around in summer. Wish I could find a fitted holster for carrying it and the Classic during summer hikes.

I like this Gun so much that I have 2 of them, both with the shoulder stocks attached. The one I chronographed at 480 fps with stock barrel. Not to shabby. Great for rats around the barn and not much concerned with over penetration.

Can’t go wrong. I also bought XL model, put a red dotamd a moderator on it.

It took a few days to get it right but I once I got it dialed in it really is a pretty powerful and fun to shoot pistol. My 7 year old loves it and someday he’ll get one someday. Anyway if you want to have a blast learning to shoot a pistol this is the best teaching and learning pistol I have ever used and I highly recommend it you can thank me for the next time.

This crossman 2240 is the best pistol to modify from the pistol I converted it into a PCP air rifle which is awesome giving me over 800 ft per second

Bought it as an upgrade to my vintage Daisy C200. It’s a nice pistol. I did a little modification including the steel rail, LPA rear sight, and a hood over the front sight. Very accurate too.

For the price, this single shot air pistol delivers the goods.Shot through a box of paper like it was mashed potatoes. Accurate as hell. I likely will buy another one..

I also have 1322 Pump, and 1377 Pump. This one for co2 is very impressive, alloy pellets are dangerous. I have over 15 air guns, and these Crosman pistols are damn near perfect right out of the box, my favs. Legally, I cannot buy on line anymore, no shipping to RI, seen as a firearm. Buy while you have the opportunity, you will not regret the purchase.

Timeless design dating back to the 50s. Simple, reliable, powerful and effective. Easy to load and shoot. Single shot design conserves CO2 cylinders. I have two, one for home and one in the camper.

This is an awesome piece. It is the gateway to getting into airguns. Only took about 2 weeks till the bug got me & started looking for ways to customize it. It really is great.

I purchased this thing to rid my property of the chipmunk menace and I’ll admit I was a bit impressed with how straight it shoots right out of the box. I bought a couple thousand assorted hunting and target pellets to go with it and I actually ran out of chipmunks to shoot a little over a week ago.
