Purchased mine in December 2019 and have put several mags of ammo through it without an issue. Can say it’s a lot of fun, but it does require responsible shooting, because it’s not a child’s toy. I’ve had no issues using the Loader to reload the included magazine and a spare. I did give the Loader a shot of Rem Oil as one individual mentioned prior to using. The Crosman Copperhead BB’s have performed flawlessly and are pretty accurate so far. Due to aged eyes, I installed an inexpensive CVLIFE Red/Green Dot Scope for better accuracy over the open sights. Full Auto is a huge blast and empties REALLY fast!

I have one issue with this.
It is TOO MUCH FUN !!!
Unfortunately, I might go broke buying bb and co2 because I CANNOT RESIST Dumping a whole mag in about 2 seconds.
I remember back to my US Army days more than 30 years ago.
Classic Armalite platform (with moderb M4 mods) and true to form and functionality of the selective fire carbine.
At 51 years old, I am a "kid-in-a-candyStore" playing with this.

I bought this bb gun a year ago because I wanted a high quality, fully-automatic option for fun. As soon as I received the rifle I immediately spray painted the entire rifle with 3 coats of spray paint. I also threw on some cheap accessories like optic, laser, flashlight, and foregrip (not that any accessories are needed). I spray painted those with 3 coats as well. I don’t recommend spray painting your bb gun, however, the craftsmanship of this bb rifle is high end and it will still function just as good after wearing the moving parts that have a thick coat of paint, with the exception of the dust cover, I would stay away from painting that. All in all, it is an awesome bb gun that is loads of fun to shoot. I highly recommend if you’re just looking for fun, but do not get this thinking it’s good for small game. Get a pellet gun for that.

I just got my R1 and I love it, the way it feels and looks, the handling, everything about it is great!

The gun has about 5000 bb’s run threw it and it’s had 3 magazines fail to to hold air and metal seal cracked in half and the guns firing pin came apart. And used full auto one time.

I bought this gun at Tractor Supply, and I took it home and instantly used it, shooting dollar signs maybe, but it really satisfied me, and made my brother jealous. I only had one small problem with a BB getting stuck in the barrel, but further inspection revealed that the BB was too big and somehow found its way into my gun. So no problems on the guns end!
