The quality of the .22 model rifle is surprisingly good! Heavy material, excellent finish, smooth action, lots of power. One reason it doesn’t have 5 stars is that the scope quality is inferior to the gun. Good magnification and clarity, just won’t calibrate. I still haven’t got mine dialed in and ended up taking it off out of frustration. Accurate with the barrel sights! Maybe my scope is defective?!
The other reason that I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the magazines are not available. Having the 10 round magazine was a key factor in my purchase decision. I immediately tried to buy additional mags both for convenience and I read that they can fail. Unfortunately, the Crosman site continues to list them as "out of stock", if you can even find the listing.
It’s really too bad that these two little things drag down an otherwise great air rifle. Resolve these and it’s a 5 star for sure. Would love to hear from Crosman.

Everything KBV said is spot on. The rifle itself is great (I think, since I still can’t get it calibrated). It seems like a quality item, which is too bad because the scope is inferior. The moment you take it off of the factory preset, it gets cloudy and unusable.
And the lack of extra magazines is really frustrating. I don’t know if they’re even available for the .177; I couldn’t find them anywhere on this website or elsewhere. Yep, resolve these two issues and I’ll revise to 5 stars.

I bought this this rifle in .22 it did have a problem with the scope, I reverted back to open sights that work pretty well, the problem on open sights the front blade is hard to see and needs a little white paint put on it. The other problem is magazines are very hard to come by retailer’s don’t even carry them. This a fine constructed rifle, the factory set trigger, just the right pull for my taste, over all I like it very well, except for the problems above. It would be nice if it came with 2 magazines until a good supply of them became available.

There is something magic in this rifle, I just have to find it. The build quality is excellent. The accuracy is a little all over the place at the moment, perhaps just me getting used to the NP power source as opposed to my .22 springer. It packs a wallop, for sure. Same complaint with the front sight, it got a dab of dayglo red so I can see it in low light conditions. I also cannot find spare magazines locally. Please advise. Now, to the supplied mounts for the scope. The rear sight obscures the scope lens completely. One inch high mounts are the minimum required not the body-hugging mounts I received. I’m a bit frustrated and can only imagine these were packed in error because there is obviously no picatinny rail included. I used the scope on my springer and its just fine otherwise. I bought this rifle because I hunt small game and needed the extra velocity. Pointed pellets are the way to go in my opinion. Nice flat trajectory and plenty energy at impact (50 meters). Instant off-switch so to speak. 15-16 grain are optimum. anything heavier and you’re doing loads of holding over. If you need to know the local supplier details, I will provide this on request. Before I go, an adjustable stock would be a great addition. If custom stocks are available, I’m interested. I hope to hear from your soon. All the best going forward.

I like mine a lot. I just got it but read the reviews after the fact and saw several said rotary clips for this gun are not available. So I called the customer service number on the web site and discovered that is no longer true. I ordered two clips for this model for $17.00 each. Thought you would want to know. Still not sure why they dont include two in the factory box.

Got it home and set it up. Installed scope but it shot six inches rigt at 25 yds. Tried to adjust windage but the windage adjusting screw did not move the wire in either direction, so I could not zero the scope. Next I tried the open sights and found they shot way right as well even wth the rear notch centered on the rear sight assembly. I adjusted the rear sight clear to the left stop to get the shots centered. Not acceptable. So the China made scope is junk and the rear sight is poorly aligned. Not too impressive on a $200 air gun. Going to call customer service today and see if they have any suggedtion for the iron sights and if they will send a new scope. I will probably end up buying an aftermarket market scope of higher quality. .i would like to just take the gun back and get a refund. The gun itself shoots well and groups pretty well. If the group was over yhe target center we would be pleased.

Picked this up at a Pawn Shop for $40.00 with no Magazines very nice Rifle. Took it home cleaned it up and used hemostats to load and it shoots very good, found 2 mags on Amazon for $11.99 each and they work perfect so Rifle and 2 Mags was $64.00. This rifle is lot lighter than my Varminator and has a sharp recoil but a recoil pad fixed that. shoots 1/2 to 3/4 inch groups at 10yds with iron sights which are not great but can get that a lot better with a good scope and figuring out how it likes to be held. I would recommend this to everyone.

First 500 shots were great and love the magazine feed but then the whole rifle started having problems to many to explain here, and now after about 1500 to 2000 shots i can hardly hit a 3 inch bullseye at 20 yards. was going to buy the .22 version but after how long this one lasted I’ve changed my mind.

Purchased from a online shop, first rifle lasted3 days before a loading issue, got new rifle that just eats magazines for breakfast, I can perhaps get 50 shots out of one before one of the teeth in the mag snaps, scope isn’t bad, still won’t shoot 2 in the same place when zeroed. Stay well clear of this p.o.s.

Accurate to 25 yards. Takes out annoying pests. Quick single-pump. Love it.

Overall experience was fine, but what I don’t like is that the gun was designed for the magazine instead of the magazine being designed for the gun. In short, it’s very hard to load a single shot.

The scope is horrible the reticle MOVES every couple of shot (in the photo i provided im holding the scope straight)and about every 30 shots the a tooth on the mag breaks and it has trouble cycling a new shot into the chamber IT IS GARBAGE DO NOT BYE
