I have owned my .22 cal shockwave for the last five years, and outside of lubing the cylinder port, and wiping down the metal parts after a day in the field, my rifle looks and performs almost like new. Accuracy, well I’m not a competitive shooter, but with the Crossman .22 hollowpoint pellets, I am grouping 1.5 inces at 50 yards, using a red dot site. Standard sites are good, but not with my worn out eyes.

I bought this air rifle from Academy Sports at a sweet deal two years ago. The cocking effort is a piece of cake for experienced shooters but may be a challenge for novices, especially children. Sighting and accuracy on both the rear sight and scope are decent for the retail price. As far as using it for pest control and small game hunting, it will get the job done. Its built-in suppressor makes it preferable for backyard plinking in a neighborhood. The gun would make a perfect Christmas gift!

Everything is good accept rear and front sight plastic material with no fiber optic

For the price, an excellent value. Great for varmint control. While not hard to cock for me, my wife can’t cock it nor any of my grandkids, which is great! Child proof!
It is also surprisingly quiet. And heavy!
I recommend it.

got mine 2 christmas’ ago and ive become the grim reaper. a squirrel at 30 yds is a goner. hopped off a zoom call and iced a whistle pig just this morning. it is no joke. id trust this thing over your dads old iron sighted .22 depending on the task.
heavy, quiet, & the scope is bonkers. for those that can’t break the barrel – hold the butt into your hip and land a smack right under the sight. one shot so you will get lots of practice at this.

Its a horrible excuse for a airgun.
Cant sight scopes in for more than 10 rnds. Quiet . No its not quiet . I have a crossman storm 177 cal it performs perfect. This crossman 22 cal has a plastic silencer of witch i think causes the rounds to fly everywhere. Not a good deal for the money. I would bet i could hit more targets with my one cock lil buck bb gun than i could with this one. I took it back because having it wasnt worth the 130 bucks to not hit the target. Wouldnt advise anyone to buy this p.o.s.

Have not had a chance to try it yet. It came, new in the box, with no scope rings. Need to purchase a set to even try it out.

Whomever is saying the gun is not accurate is an inaccurate shooter. With the scope it came with properly dialed in I can hit a 4 inch Target in center at 75 yards. There is nothing wrong with the gun it has plenty of power and say wonderful choice for somebody who does not like a lot of noise or cannot have noise in a community as long as you use common sense and not shoot any direction of a home or people you will be fine and very satisfied

Grew up shooting a old pump rifle 45 yrs ago. Now purchased a break barrel. Little hesitant about it at first, but now am enjoying it. Just got some of there target stands to plunk at!!

I bought this as a total skeptic but after getting it sighted in (which wasn’t super easy but still on the easy end of the spectrum) it’s dead on and will absolutely keep pests from stealing my fruit and vegetables. Ultra quiet, looks great and was very well priced. Have recommended it to multiple people and prefer it over my other air rifles. I’d like there to be some more accessories for it but that would be my only complaint
