Great rifle for plinking cans, targets or occasional rodent control. Powerful for humane Rodent control on the first hit. Good looking stealthy gun with a cool hi tech look. Very accurate once set up. Takes a bit of muscle to pump, but it’s only 1 time with the break barrel system.

I’ve had two occasions to deal with tech support at Crossman, regarding this rifle…
The first time I had a problem with the scope not working, and I spoke with Mathew; he promptly sent me a replacement scope, and gave me some advice on breaking in the rifle and handling the scope. He was friendly, knowledgeable about the issue that I had, and *very* supportive.
The second time, *I* had messed up the rifle (hint: do not *ever* try to use a bore-sighting tool on this weapon!); this time I spoke with Kevin, and again, he was very knowledgeable about the rifle and this issue, and gave me clear, simple instructions on how to try to fix it. He also assured me that if I *did* have to send the rifle in for servicing, the only cost would be shipping; they would fix it under warranty, even though it was *my* mistake which caused the problem.
I have *definitely* been extremely satisfied and grateful for the support that I’ve gotten from Crosman!!
[BTW, my ‘Range & Accuracy’ value above, doesn’t really have any meaning, I haven’t yet gotten much experience with the rifle. Hopefully I will soon!!]

out of the box the accuracy was bad, would not shoot a group or even close. Contacted service was advise to shoot at least 100 rounds from factory may be over oiled causing inconsistent air pressure. The more I shot it the better it seamed to get and can now hit a can consistently. If the accuracy continues to improve with use then worth the investment. The scope that comes with it is ok but will likely change it. Little fuzzy.

Bought this gun at a local farm store for $100 last October. At the time it was a good value and still is beside the inflated prices (thank you Brandon). The F.P.S. it shoots a .177 cal. pellet is very impressive. I would recommend a heavier pellet such as a 10.5 grain. This will improve the accuracy and keep the pellet speed subsonic. As far as accuracy goes, that ways heavily on the shooter. In that I mean your grip, position, hold, and angle all have to be solid, controlled and consistent in order to shoot a grouping of 5 shots up to 50 yards into a dime size circle consistently. It is possible with the air rifle which shows the excellent quality of build. Now the other side. The recoil is very heavy in spite of what you might read elsewhere. I have gone thru 2 scopes since October and have a third installed now that is supposed to be suited for that type of recoil. So far so good. The trigger is trash and cannot be adjusted far in enough to shorten or lighten the trigger pull. I fixed that myself by replacing the 3 x 5 mm screw with a 3 x 10 mm new adjustment screw I bought at the local hardware store for .34 cents. It worked however I do not want to put further money into it to smooth it out with after market trigger mods. If you purchased this rifle to try to see how good you can shoot this is not the one. It’s great for indoor target shooting up to 25 meters and outdoor plinking as well. The .22 cal would be better for pest control. I was very impressed when I first bought the gun and if you are new to shooting you will like it as well. With all things considered, if you are a serious shooter the I would look at a low cost PCP or at least try one out and compare first. Just saying.

This rifle has everything an airgunner needs. It’s light, powerful and accurate. Just clean the barrel, mount the scope and send 500 – 1000 pellets down the barrel to break it in. You will have one fine airgun by this time. Like all breakbarrels check the stock screws to make sure they are tight. Add a quality scope and you will be amazed at what this rifle can do. Once you have the artillery hold mastered, nothing in range is safe!

It’s an awesome looking air gun first I’ve owned and I like but I have issues with the scope and sighting it in. It will be on for like 5 shots then I have to sight it in again but other then sight issues it works great recommend fully

I have had this rifle for about four years now and it has held up amazing! In order to make it accurate you need to run heavier pellets out of it. I have taken every thing from squirrel to raccoons but I think it shines as a rabbit gun.I am currently running the h and n field target trophy powers and it shoots great!

I wanted it for plinking in the backyard but the accuracy is so bad that at 30 yards I can usually but not always hit an 18" square piece of cardboard I put at the bottom of the yard. Out of the box until it broke in some I could barely hit that same target at 10 yards. I can put crossbow bolts almost on top each other at 30 yds and if it were legal to do so on my property I could easily do the same with any firearm. Out of the box the scope mounting rings were missing. Quick email and they sent me replacements but the replacements were extremely difficult to mount as they didn’t engage the dovetail correctly and could be bumped off. Scope was pretty terrible visually but my expectations were very low at this price point so that was no surprise and I was ok with it. But the true big issue with the included scope and rings was that after it broke in and tightened up as much as it seems to want to it could still not be zero’d, as there was not enough elevation adjustment. At that point I could have gone back to Crosman again or I could have probably shimmed the rings but even a fixed scope would still likely have the same terrible glass so I ditched the included scope and those awful rings and ordered an inexpensive Victoptic B3 3-9 and rings which mounted easily and securely and that scope massively exceeds expectation for incredibly cheap glass (the turrets are miserable but at that the price. good enough). Even with a better scope the best this air rifle seems to be able to manage is about a 20" circle at 30 yards. My experience may not be typical for the model but I’m done with this thing at this point. I’ll probably stick to archery if I want screw around in the yard. This is much quieter than a bow, so that’s a plus.

Scope ran out of range when trying to zero its about 6 inches high at 25m. Accuraccy with light pellets is no good and your looking at 2-3in groups at 25m(crosman country hunt 7.6gr). larger pellets (13gr silverpoints) are decent with .5in accuraccy (best i think your gonna get with a break barrel). But still the damn gun shoots high and there are no hold marks on the reticle in any direction so its hopeless to try and actually hunt with it.
TLDR Scope and mounting system kinda ruins the deal on this because its useless expense.

Scope is terrible, accuracy is horrible. Absolute waste of time and money.
Should have read the reviews first. Save yourself the aggravation and avoid this product.

I just got it bc my old gun Broke I am 13 years old I think it shoots great but there are something like iron sights and a better rail for sights I had a nice scope on my old gun and I switched it over to this gun I mean for 100 bucks I’ll say it shoots great and it has some kick to it to

I like it. Wish it held more pellets but overall I do enjoy it. A bit of a kick for an airgun. Feels like a 22. Not quiet in my opinion. The Quietfire is kinda loud. Personally I like it that way.

My son save up for this air rifle and it was a complete waste of money. Scope is inaccurate and the he gun shoots all over the place. There is no consistency with grouping. Would not recommend buying.

Not a bad lower cost air rifle! After unboxing I began shooting budget 0.177 lead pellets to zero the scope. I had forgotten that cheap lip pellets will stray…lol.
First of all for potential buyers, sometimes air gun barrels have a break in period. I found after 50 to 70 pellets the shot groups were tightening up with fewer flyers.
Second of all, scope is more than sufficient. At 10 to 15 yards it worked very well for a budget scope. It is inferior to mid range and premium scopes. But it gets the job done and I appreciate the factory including one in the in the box. I will change it superior in the future.
I am enjoying it very much. I have shot several hundred pellets as of writing this review. The more pellets shot the more accurate it gets.
I will give this particular air rifle model a thumbs up. I would recommend to buy for a budget air rifle.

Accuracy is terrible, I’ve put lots of rounds thru it and the best group I have ever gotten was 1.5" at 15 yards. I’ve tried all kinds of pellets, the ones I got the 1.5" group with were Gamo Red Fires. The trigger is horrible, the "Adjustable Trigger" just goes from bad to worse. Overall I would NOT recommend buying, Crosman really need to step un their game.

After wasting several hours and several hundred shots trying to site this gun in, it is truly a piece of junk. Started out sighting in at 15 yards and couldn’t hit anything. Moved in to 15 feet and thought I was getting closer, but I can on occasion get a group of 2 near each other but mostly missed the 12 in target. Got a piece of plywood and set up 9 targets so I could see where I was, and even after 200 rounds I was lucky to get a group of 10 inches, with several no hits. Really, at 15 feet. The store will not take this back so now I am out $170 bucks. Very experienced shooter, I have double checked everything, Dont waste your money, wish I had read reviews prior to purchase. When looking for tech support, they state they are very backed up, no wonder with a product like this. I WAS a long time crosman owner but look else ware if you want to hit a barn door at 15 feet!!!

This is a grate Air rifle for the price I paid. I was sick of pump Riffles. I wanted to get more into pellet riffles. As they are fun to shoot. Along with grate for small game. This riffle has done nothing but brought me a good experience. Do not read into the 1 star review’s. This riffle needs to be broken in. Yes it could take you 50-150 shots to get it broke in. Once you got it broken in. This riffle is extremely accurate. I have no stray shots. Where I put that cross hair. Is where my pellet goes. Just like a real riffle. Wind will affect your shot. So you adjust for it. The negative reviews are people who took the riffle, out of the box. Expecting it to just be ready to shoot. A lot of pellet guns that are riffled barrel need a brake in period. The only reason I gave 4 stars is it’s not as quiet as I thought it would be. I understand that a lot of the noise is the pellet braking the sound Barrier. I shoot a heavier pellet to help with that. Yet it doesn’t do to much to quiet it down. It’s pretty quiet in the begging. Once it is broken in. It gets to about the sound of a .22 riffle. Over all a good Air riffle. Specially if your looking to get into brake barrel rifles. It’s a good riffle to start with.

Accuracy is the big issue
This gun can not be sighted in at all, ive tried different techniques on sighting it in
Different scopes and even bought a bore sight dontwadte time or money, I should of went with my gut instinct and bought a gammo

I wrote a review on this back when I got it. I broke the riffle in and even with the factory scope. I thought a lot of the poor reviews were just inexperienced people. Yet I was wrong. Shortly after the review. The riffle started to get squirrelly again. It went from stacking shots. To wondering where some of them went. I figured it was just the scope not a big problem. So I got a better scope. Got it on point or so I thought. Then bam right back to pellets going every where. Took it to the range today. Mounted the gun, started at 15 yards and work back to 40. At 15 yards it held a decent group. Then bam all over again up to 6” high, low, left, right,. So I went out to 30 adjusted my scope. The best I could do is get two tight. Then the same thing happens as it did at 15 yards. I tried multiple pellets in the braking period. Yet found that the 10.5 gr that were on the box. Worked the best. My buddy using the same pellets and his Gamo riffle. Had no problems. For the price I do think this is a problem. I can get better groups with the 760 than this. Along with how fast these pellets go accuracy is important. I am now most likely going to use this riffle as a paper weight. Take the loss on what I paid for it, and go out and buy a better pellet riffle. I could of used the money I spent on this to get a good riffle. My lose their gain they got my money. Just can’t see buying another brake barrel from this company.
